OUR TESTIMONIES AND REVIEWS

From Mingjie Zhou:

This method has exposed me to more diverse cultural backgrounds, social backgrounds, and even religious backgrounds and different identities. Through equal and open communication, people can understand in a comfortable and mutually understanding and respectful way to understand each other's feelings. Insights on perspectives and feminist-related stories are shared. Such dialogue is equally flat , and it should be encouraged to appear more and be heard by more people.

From Chiara Faggionato:

This method allows two women to find the space and time to talk about something important, to create moments of sharing, to dedicate time to each other. I think the potential of this project is precisely in the act of creating these moments.

Весьма эффективный метод для совместной работы.

From Jeanne Schmidt:

For me personally, it was a good exercise to use my own voice and learn to bear listening to it as well. It is important to literally learn to listen to ourselves in order to be heard. These are important skills to bring about change. I will use the method in the future to research my own family history to learn more about the feminist heritage in our family. I will also use the method in workshops to explore the topic of anger with different women.

From Shehzil Malik:

This method allows one to hear women’s stories and opinions in an honest, intimate way. What I find most valuable is that there is no outsider or interviewer per say- the method is about two women meeting on an equal footing, and talking to each other with trust. They are also able to edit what they’d like to record of their conversation- putting the women in charge of their story and how it’s told. I want to apply this method in my research project to collect women’s stories in Pakistan.

From Gaby Wonja Richter:

The method opened up my prospectives. It turned out being a fabulous tool woman+ talking together from totally different cultures. Getting the chance to gaze into other lives is like a birthdays gift and should be treated as such! We shall all celebrate Feminists Convers and nurse them regularly by taking every chance to talk to each other.
